Live-in Care

Live-in care across Lincolnshire

One familiar carer living in your home - however far it is from the nearest town.

In a county as big as Lincolnshire, getting help at home can be harder than it should be. Visiting carers have long drives between calls, so visits get squeezed, run late or don't happen at all in more remote villages.

Live-in care sidesteps the problem. Your carer lives with you, so there's no travelling between visits - just steady, unhurried support at home, wherever home happens to be.

Signs it may be time

  • Short care visits aren't covering what's needed, or keep changing time
  • You're worried about falls, nights or a long wait for help in an emergency
  • Family live a long way off and can only visit at weekends
  • A care home would mean moving miles away from friends and the village

How your carer helps

Daily routine

Mornings and bedtimes handled at your speed, never rushed.

Meals

Cooking proper meals you enjoy, and keeping an eye on drinks through the day.

Medication

Prompts at the right times and a record so nothing gets missed.

The house

Laundry, tidying and keeping things running as you like them.

Getting out

Lifts to the surgery, the market, church or a friend's for coffee.

Peace of mind

Someone in the house overnight, so you're never on your own.

In Lincolnshire

Because the carer lives in, we can support people in places agencies often struggle to reach - farmhouses outside Sleaford, cottages on the edge of the Wolds, bungalows near the coast.

Ask for a carer with a licence and hospital trips to Lincoln, Boston or Grantham stop hinging on a neighbour's lift or the twice-daily bus.

Choosing your carer

We start with a free visit to your home to learn your routine and what matters to you. Then we introduce carers whose experience and character fit, and you decide who to go ahead with.

What it costs

Live-in care with Lincolnshire Sisters starts at £1,200 a week. Heavier or specialist needs sit in our higher packages, and every figure is agreed on paper first.

Your questions

Yes. Live-in care works the same in a remote village as in Lincoln, because the carer stays with you rather than travelling to you.

A bedroom of their own, use of the kitchen and bathroom, and a break of around two hours each day. We'll check the practical details when we visit.

Of course. Tell us and we'll introduce someone else - the right match matters more than anything.
