Help with the cost

Lincolnshire County Council can help when you qualify and have under £23,250 in savings - your house is left out for care at home.

Attendance Allowance ignores savings: £76.70 or £114.60 weekly in 2026/27, depending on day or day-and-night needs.

NHS Continuing Healthcare pays in full when needs are mainly health needs.

Pricing questions

We'll recommend one after a free assessment at home. Most people start with Essential or Enhanced; Comprehensive is for situations where two carers are needed.

No. Anything that affects the price is agreed in writing before care starts. The household provides the carer's room and food or a food allowance.

Slightly, since one carer does more - but it's a fraction of two care home fees. Ask for a joint quote.

Often, yes. Once the county council confirms eligibility, a direct payment can go towards a package with us. Our funding guide explains the steps.
