About live-in care
It means sharing your home with a carer who handles the everyday - personal care, cooking, tablets, chores, conversation - and who's under the same roof at night.
All of Lincolnshire - cathedral city, market towns, coast, Wolds and Fens, right down to the hamlets. Travel time doesn't apply when the carer lives in.
Their own bedroom, use of the kitchen and bathroom, and a daily break of around two hours. We go through the details at the free home visit.
Carers and matching
ID, right to work, references and DBS are all verified, and we interview every carer about their background before putting them forward.
Every time. We shortlist, you pick - and if the fit feels wrong later on, we'll swap.
Money
From £1,200 a week for one person. Dementia and complex needs fall into our £1,300 package, two-carer support into the £2,600 one, and you get the figure in writing after a free visit.
Possibly. Eligible people with less than £23,250 saved can get a contribution, and the house you live in is left out of the sums for home care.
Sometimes - when care needs are mostly medical, NHS Continuing Healthcare covers everything. A short NHS checklist is the starting point.
About us
Lincolnshire Sisters is an introductory agency. We introduce and match carers rather than employing them to provide personal care - a model the Care Quality Commission recognises under the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
Our office is at 22 Forge Crescent, Pinchbeck, near Spalding. Lines are open 9am to 10pm, 7 days a week.
